One second there was an egg, the next there was a metal form crushing her legs. "Oh aren't you just adora- ow, ow, ow..." She had started when the baby aron had not been standing on her. Now he was standing and it was safe to say that steel-types, even the smaller ones, were definitely not light creatures. Prince's eyes were staring straight at the aron, "He certainly looks like an able fellow." Azure was more excited for she jumped on the ball she had rolled back earlier, balancing on it like a clown. "Aw, he's so cute." She mused, "Much cuter than some other fancy pants on my team." The snivy merely snorted at her. He turned his attention back to the aron, "Hello there."
Bright blue eyes glanced about, taking in the sights and the presences of the other pokemon within the area. Instantly he stood straight up, causing Talos some very sharp pain; trying to make his new form seem menacing. Alas it didn't seem to work very well, at least not on the snake next to him and the mouse off a ways. He hopped off his 'mother's' lap, eyeing the other pokemon. Talos in turn had sighed with relief once her new metal pokemon was off her legs. "I think I have bruises..." she mumbled to herself. He looked between the snivy then another grass-type who stood just a short way away. He tried to stare her straight in the eye, tried to look all menacing. Which he wasn't, but one could dream right? Talos couldn't help but chuckle at his antics, "Just out of the egg and he already looks like he wants to battle. Got me a fighter, this one. Should I name him Boss?" Prince tapped her on her bruised leg, "Absolutely not! Nothing can top royalty madam."
Talos was still laughing between the groans of pains from her pokemon's constant poking. "Okay, okay I get it. I'll name Orion then. Happy?" Prince sniffed, a happy smile on his face. She turned her attention back to the baby pokemon. "What are you doin' Orion." Sensing that it was his named that was being called the aron turned toward his 'mom'. "Momma... These guys look weak." He barked. Of course Talos hadn't an idea what he was saying but her azurill's break-out of laughter gave her a clue. "He's picking a fight isn't he?" A question named aimed at anyone in particular.

Kiki found the whole experience pretty amazing. The egg had broken away to reveal a baby Pokemon. She was not very into steel types, but she found the Aron pretty cute. From Talos' reaction, she guessed that he was also pretty heavy. She found the Pokemon's actions quite amusing. She did not think many would want to battle the first thing after hatching. She wondered if the little guy would be any good. He probably needed some good training to discover his skills. "Nice name," she commented. She chuckled at the look Orion gave Alice. Did he really think he could take her on at her level? "That's what it looks like." She smirked. "He'll probably be a great fighter after some trainer." It would be interesting to watch him battle after that occurred.
Alice blinked at the Aron. Weren't babies supposed to be cute, cuddly, and innocent? Well, Orion had the first one down, but he definitely had to work on the other two. <Uh, hi,> she said awkwardly. She did not like it when other Pokemon looked at her merely as an opponent. Couldn't they just be friends first?
<Hello, Orion!> Chomper said happily. The Totodile seemed almost oblivious to the Aron's display of aggression. <I'm Chomper. Do you want to be friends?>
<I don't think he does,> Penelope snorted as she moved closer to the baby. She easily recognized the challenge in his eyes, and she like. His attitude was impressive for someone so young. Wait, did he just call her weak? <I am not weak,> she retorted angrily. <If you ever want to battle, I'm ready.> She slapped her tail against the ground. She was not yet an ice type, so steel types weren't her weakness, but she did know that their defense was good against water. She would gladly accept this challenge.

Alice wasn't the only one to think that the newborn aron wasn't quite as 'baby-like' as one would think. Prince would've agreed indefinitely, in fact he would be knocking on the little thing's iron head to see if there was anything inside. But he decided against it, choosing to fawn over his bruised master. Talos was rubbing her legs, slowly attempting to stretch out after having that near hundred pound baby crushing her. Of course Prince didn't help when he started to pat. "Ah! N- ow, ow, ow..." The snivy looked up at his master's protests. He tilted his head, "Now how could my lovely treatment harm you so, lady?" Of course Talos merely waved off his snivy speech. "Pressure hurts. Stop poking, prodding, and tampering." She whispered, patting the snivy's head. The grass-type straightened out and gave off a light smile. He nodded in understanding. That gave the girl a sigh of relief. Her attention turned back toward Kiki. "Thanks.", she gave a toothy grin at the other, "Me too, lets hope he doesn't decide bathing in lava is a new trend either."
All the while, Orion was distracted from his 'target' by another pokemon. This one blue unlike the green weakling in front of him. He let out a heavy huff as another joined in. "Friend? Prefer opponent. Opponents make me stronger." He stated proudly, trying to puff out his chest. His stubby legs made that quite impossible so only his head was raised. He was in that pose until he heard a challenge. How he even knew what a challenge was, well maybe it was instinct for the aron snorted and looked straight at his challenger. "I beat you anyday. You no match for my mighty-ness." Little did he know that his little newborn self could do very little against an older figure. Alas Azure finally joined in, completely forgetting the ball she guarded and running on toward the group. Well bouncing really, on that bubble of a tail of hers. "Thats a bad idea! Least by yourself."
Orion eyed the blue mouse warily. "I strongest. Never lose. You opponent?" The mouse shook her head, "Nope, ally. But if you battle you can't do it alone now. Not until you get stronger." The steel type gave out another huff. He shook his head, firm in his mind that he was indeed the strongest being on the planet. All the while Talos had been watching the group gather while petting her snivy. Prince on the other hand watched them warily, ready to jump in if a battle broke out between the newborn and the hot-headed seel. He didn't want his master to be worried about her new baby after-all.
((OOC: Sorry that took me so long to reply to. Finally got caught up in my school-work.))[/size]

Kiki chuckled at Talos' comment. "Yes, let's hope so." She found the little Aron quite interesting. She wondered what had caused his strong battling instincts. It had to be his nature, for he had just been born. He was sure to make a great Pokemon once he grew up. Maybe then she and Talos could battle. It seemed like her Seel wanted to get started right away. She did not feeling like this was a good idea, so she turned to her Chikorita to be the peacemaker. "Alice, keep an eye on Penelope."
<I do not need to be watched!> Penelope said indignantly. She jabbed her horn in the direction of Orion. <He's the problem.> She shot the baby a hard look. <You have no training or experience. There's no way you can beat me.>
<And don't try,> Alice said, resting her vine on the Seel's shoulder. <You don't have to prove yourself. We all know who would win if you two battled alone.>
<Let's have some fun instead!> Chomper said anxiously. He glanced back to where the baseball had been left. <We can play more ball.> He offered Orion a small smile. <Opponents are important, but friends are good to. They can help you when you need it.> Really, what was better than friends? The Aron was just a baby. He would learn. OOC: It's ok. I know what that's like.
