1. You may have up to eight student characters. You may create a Pokemon to roleplay in the wild or to be captured. You may have four of these characters.
2. You must have a link to each of your characters' profiles in your sig. If all of your characters do not fit in your sig, you must create a new account. You do not have to do this for Pokemon characters.
3. You can only have six Pokemon in your team.
4. You must take five classes and you can take a maximum of six. Each student is required to take Pokemon Basics, Pokemon History, and Pokemon Anatomy. You must take either Pokemon Psychology or Pokemon Philosophy. You almost must choose one out of these: Breeding 101, Battling Techniques, and Healing and Potions. You can take whichever class you want for your remaining class.
5. You may be in as many threads as you want in the category "The Academy." You may only be in one thread at a time in the category "Shupert City."
6. If you only want to encounter Pokemon in Shupert City, put [Mod] in the thread title. If you want other students to join your post, put their name in brackets or put [Open]. Pokemon are free to appear in these threads.
7. If your Pokemon defeats another Pokemon whose level is two or more higher than it, it gains 3 levels.
If your Pokemon defeats another Pokemon between one level less and one lever above it, it gains 2 levels.
If your Pokemon defeats another Pokemon whose level is two or more lower than it, it gains 1 level.
If one Pokemon has an advantage, act like that Pokemon is one level more than it really is.
If you are battling another trainer, your Pokemon automatically gains 1 level if it faints.
If you are battling another trainer, add 1 level to the number of levels your Pokemon gains (in addition to what is listed above based on the levels of the two battling Pokemon) if your Pokemon causes your opponent's Pokemon to faint.
8. An admin or mod will inform you when your Pokemon learns a new attack. A Pokemon can only know 8 attacks at a time. If it learns more than this, it must forget a previously learned attack.
9. An admin or mod will tell you when your Pokemon is ready to evolve. The secret word is "fruitcake." You may choose when your Pokemon evolves.
10. This site is semi-literate. Please aim for at least two paragraphs. I know this is not always possible, so aim for five sentences. If your post is under three sentences you will receive a warning.
11. Put "finished" in your post if you want a thread to end.
12. A huge point of this forum is for your characters to meet and hang out with other characters. So don't be afraid to make friends.
13. Be sure to double-check the enrollment pages posted in each class sub-board. The are two classes for each core classes, A and B. You do not want to have your character end up in the wrong class. The purpose of this is to keep the classes relatively small for smoother ease of roleplaying.
The rules are subject to change.
