Contemplating a Move

So, I've been thinking about moving this forum to a fresh, new site. I don't think we are attracting as many members as we could because there is still a lot of old stuff on here from years past. Guests might not think we know how to keep this place active. Making it look new might help get more people to join.

Also, it could be a chance to add new features to the site, such as additional classes, a revamped personality test, and Pokemon coordinators. There are things we can do to make this site even better, and it may be easier to start out fresh. Any ideas for improvements like this are welcome.

You would not have to start over with your characters. We would transfer our characters, Pokemon, and money over to the new site. Threads currently in progress here would be resumed over there, which would help show activity. Furthermore, I think it may be a good idea if we all had separate accounts for our characters (and admins and mods with special staff accounts). It will make the place look more active and full.

Ok. Is there any sort of mini plot you can think of to attract members? Some sort of threatening evil or potential conflict among students? Maybe they could be divided into teams or something to promote rivalries and competition.

The dorms could work like Hogwarts houses or something. Point system gives dorms rewards every now and then? I dunno, just spouting things off the top of my head.

Yeah, I was thinking about something like that. It could work. Should it be random, based on personality, or chosen by the student?

Edit: Perhaps the groups could be based on the Pokemon regions (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova). They students on each team could focus on Pokemon from their region.
