The blonde loner was walking down the hallway, taking small and fast steps which causes her to clumsily fall and feel all eyes caught on her. A few laughs here and there would be heard, so she slowly stood up with a faint groan and continued walking in caution and careful pace. When finally at her destination, she inhaled in a lot of air because of her nervousness, then with shaking hands she'd bring her fist to the wooden door and knock lightly. Tapping her foot nervously and having a stare-off to the door until it opens.

Principal Sash had been working at her desk when she heard a knock at the door. "I wonder who that could be," she mused. Her Vulpix Maya, who had been sleeping at her fit, lifted her head and blinked. "I suppose I should go check it out." It was most likely a student, but the reason was unknown. They did not get many new students after the school year started, but Sash found herself wishing this was the reason as she walked over to the door. She hated seeing kids who were in trouble. She put on a warm smile as she opened the door. "Hello. I'm Principal Sash. How may I help you?" She did not recognize the student, so she thought it was best to introduce herself first.

Megumi took a small step backwards, joining her two shaking hands together behind her back. "U-Uhm..I'm here to get my first Pokemon.." Megumi looked past the principal to see a just awaken vulpix, smiling and thinking at how cute it is. I can't wait to get my first Pokemon.. finally. She thought to herself as she looked back up to the principal. Forgetting her manners, she gasped and bowed her head as a sorry. "S-Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself.. I'm Megumi Tachibana, I just enrolled here."

Sash could tell the girl was nervous, so she continued to smile at her kindly. She knew it could be intimidating to walk into the office of a new school for the first time. She was relieved that this was, after all, a new student. "It is nice to meet you, Megumi. Come in." She stepped aside to let the student enter. "You will have o take a test in order to receive your first Pokemon."
At this cue, Maya stretched and yawned. Then she hopped up onto the desk and searched through the scattered papers. Finding what she wanted, she picked up a piece of paper and leapt back down to the floor. She trotted over to her trainer, stopped in front of the student with the paper still in her mouth. She blinked up at the girl, wondering what to make of her.

Vice Principal Turner was briskly walking towards Principal Sash's office. It seemed like lately he had been spending a lot of time in there. Much more than in his own office... He had been either organizing and cleaning it, for she got it messy way too quickly, or he was handling new students while she was out running errands, doing more enjoyable principal tasks. Now, he needed to talk to her about something. His Lairon, Spike, followed him. Once he arrived, he knocked on the door before opening it. He took in the student who was with Sash as he walked in. Very quickly, he was frowning and narrowing his eyes at the girl. "Who is this?" he asked pointedly.
Spike smiled up at Sash when he entered the room with his trainer. He spotted Maya and walked over to her. <Hi!> he said. He liked the little Vulpix and wished they could see each other more often.

Megumi looked down to the vulpix, taking the papers softly and petting the vulpix between it's ears. Hearing a door creak open with footsteps follow after, she shrieked and swiftly turned to her behind. 'Am I in trouble? What did I do? I don't re-call on doing anything bad..' Megumi had many questions and worried thoughts bunching up in her brain, worried she got into some trouble. "I'm Megumi Tachibana.." She shyly said and bowed the upper half of her body with her papers neatly stacked in her hand grip, showing respect because he looks like he works at the Academy.

Maya did not usually like new students, but the petting felt good, so she sat down and smiled. Maybe this one wasn't so bad. She blinked when Vice Principal Turner walked in with Spike. She did not usually see them too often. <Hello,> she said to Spike. <What's going on?>
Sash was surprised to see the Vice Principal enter. He had never interrupted her when she was with a student in the past unless that student was in trouble. She frowned at his tone. "This is a new student," she said with an edge in her voice to warn him away from being too harsh. "She is here to get her first Pokemon." She offered the girl a small smile. "Just fill out that paper and I'll give you your options."

Turner was afraid of that. A new student. "Another one?" Classes had already started, which should mean he didn't have to deal with all that paperwork. However, under Sash's rules, he would have to endure paperwork throughout the whole year. He continued to stare at the student, his expression unfriendly and cool. "She is late. Do you understand that, miss? Classes have already started. Now, I must deal with additional work that I should have been done with long ago." He stared at the girl with blame in his eyes.
"Really, Principal Sash," he said as he turned to her. "We need to make a cut off date. Otherwise, we'll get all these riff raff." He looked back at the student, his eyes narrowed. Really, who else would sign up late? They were the cause of Sash's office getting messy so quickly. They even made his office a bit messy from having to deal with all that paperwork and such. It was a nuisance.
<Well, my trainer wanted to talk to yours about something,> Spike said. He frowned in thought. <Though, I'm not sure what it was.> He looked up at Turner and sweatdropped.

Megumi looked down to the desk, hiding her eyes because of the tears that came up. "S-Sorry.." Megumi signed her papers as quickly as she could, handing them over with shaky hands when finished. 'But.. if I didn't enrol, I could have died with nobody to notice except my brothers.. besides, I didn't even ask to be enrolled here..' Megumi shook her head and forced her tears to disappear. Luckily, her tears didn't drop before, otherwise she'd look like a bawling baby.

"It's not her fault," Sash said gently She could tell that Turner was scaring the girl. The school was supposed to make a good impression on new students! "It is a tradition that students come and leave at all times throughout the year. Everyone works at their own pace. However, if you wish to discuss changing the rule, we can hold a meeting instead of taking it out on innocent students." She tried to sound as pleasant as possible. She did not want to argue with him in front of the girl, for it might scare her even more. The principal smiled at Megumi as she took the papers back. Everything looked in order except for one thing. "Now you just need to take the personality test here." She flipped the paper over and showed the girl the questions.
Maya nodded at Spike. She looked at their trainers and smirked. <This is quite amusing, actually.> How did they stand working together? The two of them were as opposite as could be.

Megumi looked down to the papers, gripping her pen tightly. 'I guess I'll have to be honest in this test to get a Pokemon that'll fit me right.. I hope this Pokemon that i'll get will like me..'

"Thank you, dear," Sash said as she took the test back. She was glad Turner had not said anything else to contradict her... for now. She quickly scanned the paper. She tried to think of good Pokemon to offer the girl, though she knew that any persistent trainer would do well with whatever they were given. She quickly formed an idea in her head. "Just a second." She made her way to the back of the office where the Pokeballs were stored. She soon walked back with three of them. Then she released the three from their containment. "Choose one of these."

Megumi looked to the three starter Pokemon, examining each detail they possess. The Seedot looked a little to boring for her, so she had to decide between the Oshawott and the Chingling. 'They're both so cute..' Megumi placed her hand on her chin, caressing it like as if she had a beard. Megumi couldn't stay around all day, so she carefully chose the Oshawott. "I think I'll pick.. You" Megumi carefully picked up the Oshawott, smiling down to it to assure that she won't hurt it. Since the Oshawott was blue and had a shell on it's stomach, she theorised that it is a water type Pokemon. "Thank you, Sash-sensei" Megumi thanked her, seeing that if she didn't it would be rude manners.

Turner turned to Sash, sighing inwardly. "That is actually what I wanted to talk to you about." He refrained from saying anything else as he watched the student go back and fill out the personality test. He did not say anything else as Sash took the test from her and went to find the three Pokemon she could choose from. Once she chose her Pokemon and left, then Sash and he could discuss things.
Spike wasn't so sure. He wished he could help his trainer to stay calm, but it never seemed possible. The newly appeared Pokemon distracted him. <Hello!> he greeted them with a big smile. He was happy for the Oshawott; the girl seemed really nice.

Megumi looked down to her new Starter Pokemon, Oshawott. The Oshawott cuddled into her lap with a proud grin shown on him. "Hey!" The Oshawott greeted the other Pokemon, his grin still remaining on him. Megumi obviously didn't understand the Pokemon language, so she had no idea what the Oshawott was saying, yet could tell that the Oshawott knew what she was saying. "I think I'll call you.. Kaito." Megumi smiled knowing that the 'Kai' syllable is often the kanji for 'ocean,' not liking his name just being Kai, so she added 'to' (pronounced toe) to it, which also meant 'dipper' or something of the sort. Kaito nodded his head with a cheer, liking his new name more than the original word 'Oshawott.' [/size]
