Miss Riverton walked into the classroom with a stack of papers in her arms. Her Tyrogue, Sport, swiftly walked by her side. "This is going to be a fun class," she said, giving the Pokemon a smile. She always loved teaching electives; she knew the students who signed up for the class actually wanted to be there and were not there because it was required. Plus, psychology was such a fascinating subject. Who would not want to try to figure out how Pokemon's minds worked? It could be useful for enhancing battling techniques as well as developing the skills to become a good breeder of Pokemon healer. There was something for everyone.
<Indeed,> Sport said. He took his usual position at the front of the class behind the teacher's desk. He crossed his arms and waited for the students to enter. He could not wait to pick apart the minds of the Pokemon that dared enter his domain.

Edmund walked calmly and happily into class, knowing he wasn't behind like he was for all the others. Upon entering the room and seeing he was the first one there, He thrusts both his fist in the air in victory, Andy finding it humorous, decieded to imitate him. "All right! First one to class! Victory!" <Yeah! Go dummy!> He sat down at a desk and smiled at the teacher. "So glad I'm kind of early..." He laid his head down on his desk and almost imediatly fell asleep. <Dummy?> Andy looked at him curiously and tugged his hair a bit. <Dummy what are you...> Andy suddenly fell against his head and fell asleep as well, all their activness catching up to them now that they had a break.

Gary walked into class with Skipper, his Squirtle. He was ready and excited for class. He had always enjoyed science, so he found Pokemon psychology particularly interesting. He knew it would be useful if he did end up deciding to become a Pokemon researcher. If not, he was sure the information would still come in handy. "Good afternoon," he said to the teacher.
Miss Riverton nodded at him. "Good afternoon." Two students down and four to go. She wondered why one of the students appeared to be sleeping. He must have had an active life like her. This was going to be fun.
<Hello,> Skipper said to Sport. He noticed the other trainer and Pokemon, and he walked over to them curiously. He stood next to the chair and looked up at the Aipom. <Class is not nap time.>
Gary chuckled as he walked over to his Squirtle. "It looks like they've had a little too much fun today." He recognized the guy from lunch one day, but he could not recall his name.

Paul walked through the classroom door with Thorn by his side. So far, the Turtwig was behaving, though he was not sure how long it would last. He had decided to let him come to avoid what happened last class. At first, he thought to leave him in his room but then figured, Thorn being Thorn, he would find some way to escape and make a scene. A plus, though, was that this class would allow him to hopefully gain some insight on how to control him.
As soon as Thorn spotted the Tyrogue, he dashed over to him. <Hello again! Remember me?> He looked up at Miss Riverton. <Hi! I love your classes! I'm so glad Paul let me come.> He gave her a big grin, his little tail moving back and forth. Then he looked around him, spotted the Squirtle, and ran over to him. He hadn't seen him before. <Hello! I'm Thorn.>
Paul, who was standing just inside the entrance, frowned at his Turtwig. "Thorn!" He did not like his crazed energy. Thorn didn't appear to have heard him.

Skipper turned around at the sound of another Pokemon and smiled. <Hi. My name is Skipper. This is my trainer, Gary.> He nodded at Gary, who was still standing beside him.
Kiki and Alice walked into class together. The girl had thought about taking her Seel, as she was the only one who had not attended a class yet, but she decided it would be too much trouble due to her large shape and lack of legs. Of course, Alice was happy to tag alone. Her eyes lit up when she saw Thorn talking to a Squirtle. <Thorn!> she said happily as she ran over to them. <How are you doing?> She glanced at the Squirtle. <Hello there.>
Kiki chuckled as she watched the interaction. She was kind of surprised Paul had let Thorn come along this time. He did not look too happy about the situation, though. She decided to ignore them and walked over to the Pokemon. "Is that one yours?" she asked Gary, her eyes on the Squirtle.

With the growing number of people, Ed slowly lifted his head and rubbed his eyes. "ah... I'm up. What happend? Please tell me I didn't sleep through class." Andy was still sleeping, limply hanging from his hair and softly snoozing. With a quick look around, it appeared everyone was still just arriving which meant he hadn't missed anything. "Oh good. Sorry about that Ma'am." With a yawn and a stretch he gave Andy a small shake to wake her. She didn't take having her nap interrupted too kindly and give his hair a good tug before laying ontop of his head belly down. She lazily mumbled something unintelligible before stretching at looking at the other Pokemon. <Hi.> was all the energy she had to say.

Thorn was excited to meet Skipper. He spun around at the sound of a Chikorita. <Alice!> he cried in delight. <I'm doing great! My trainer actually let me come this time!> He was happy to be able to go to class with Alice again. It was going to be great!
Paul recognized the Chikorita immediately and was not surprised to see Kiki come into view next. Of course, the Chikorita went straight to Thorn. This could not continue. If only Pokemon were not allowed in class. He made his way over to the group and looked down at his Turtwig. "Thorn, come."
Thorn looked up at his trainer with a sad expression. <Do I have to? Can't I stay with Alice?>
"If you don't obey, you'll have to go back into your Pokeball," Paul threatened.
Thorn's ears drooped. <Okay,> he sighed. Then, he had an idea. Perking up with hope, he ran over to Kiki and began to pull her leg in the direction of Paul. He released it to say, <Can you please sit with us? Please?> Then he resumed pulling.

Gary smiled at Kiki and nodded. He recognized her as well. "Yep," he said. "His name is Skipper." He glanced at the Chikorita. He had seen her at lunch with her trainer. The two seemed like a pretty nice pair. He blinked at the actions of the Turtwig. He remembered Paul and Thorn as well, and he did not have a good impression of the trainer. Where did he get off thinking he could treat Pokemon as tools for his command? Perhaps this class would teach him something useful.
Kik frowned at Paul's harsh tone. Why would he not let his Pokemon have any fun? Really, if he wanted Thorn to be better at battling and obeying him, treating him better was the key. She doubted he would listen to her, though. He seemed like the type who would not budge once he made up his mind. She frowned when Thorn began to tug on her pant leg. She knew what he wanted, but she was not sure if she should comply. She did not want a confrontation with Paul.
<Yes, let's go with them!> Alice said, giving her trainer a pleading look. She did not understand Paul at all. Kiki was always nice to her and gave her plenty of freedom to do whatever she wanted. Why was Thorn's trainer so different? Maybe he just didn't know how to be a Pokemon trainer yet.
At the Chikorita's look, Kiki let out a short sigh. "Fine." If it would make her Pokemon happy, she was willing to go along with this. She moved forward in the direction that Thorn was taking her. She glanced at Paul, raising her eyebrows at him. "What's the matter, don't you believe in love?" She found the two grass types absolutely adorable together.

Edd was still a bit drowsy and not fully awake. Watching the two grass pokemon and their trainers, he couldn't help but smile. It was like some kind of Romeo and Juliet relationship with their Pokemon. Hearing what Kiki said about love he laughed a little. "I bet Thorn and Alice believe in loooove~. Am I right?" He grinned a bit and looked down at the pokemon when he asked the question. Andy, seeing an opportunity to tease them, suddenly had a burst of energy to put her tail hand on Edmund's head and dance a bit as she sung, <Thorn and Alice sitting' in a tree, K, I, S, S, I, N, G!> She then giggled hysterically and fell on Ed's head, belly first, choosing to stay there, not that Ed minded at all.

<Yay!> Thorn exclaimed when Kiki began to walk in the direction he wanted. He turned and trotted over to Paul. <I'm good now.> He looked at the Aipom when it started singing and sweatdropped.
Paul stared down at what Thorn was doing. He remembered him doing the same thing in the cafeteria. He frowned. This was not what he wanted. He wanted him away from the Chikorita. On the other hand, he was obeying him. Sort of. When Kiki spoke, he glanced up at her. Love? "It makes you weak." He looked down at his Turtwig. "And soft." That was not something he wanted of his Pokemon. He turned around and found a seat away from most people before sitting down, placing his backpack on the floor beside him.
Thorn saddened at his trainer's words. Love made you weak? He looked up at Kiki with worried eyes.

Alice chuckled nervously at the reaction from Ed and Andy. She was so not in love. She just... had a little crush, that was all. Was thee something wrong with that? Paul seemed to think so. Well, if she could talk, she would tell him to lighten up. Maybe he was not getting enough sun. The sun always made the Chikorita feel light and happy.
Kiki glanced at Ed and smirked. Yeah, she she would say he was right. She wondered what Andy appeared to be singing, but from the looks of Alice and Thorn, she guessed it was something embarrassing. She turned to Paul and frowned at his comments. "Don't listen to him," she said to Thorn. "What does he know about love? He's probably never even had a girlfriend. Healthy emotional relationships are vital to good physical, psychological, and emotional health." She followed Paul over to the other side of the room and promptly sat down beside him.
Alice watched the two trainers with a thoughtful expression on her face. <We need to get them to become friends,> she said to Thorn as she headed in their direction. <Otherwise we'll probably never see each other outside of class, and your trainer is trying to ruin even that.> Yes, everything would be better if they could just all get along.

Thorn brightened at Kiki's words. He was glad she thought that. He followed Kiki to Paul while walking beside Alice. He became excited at her words. <Yes! That's the perfect solution!> It would benefit everyone. Paul needed a friend, and it didn't seem like he was going to peruse one anytime soon. Alice and he would help with that! Then he became troubled. <But how?> His trainer was pretty stubborn and didn't like many people.
Paul didn't look at Kiki as she sat down beside him. At the very least, Thorn had obeyed him in some way. It would probably backfire on him if he refused to tolerate what he just made happen. The next class, he would work on that last part. He hoped class would start soon so he could begin learning, for this class seemed very interesting and helpful.
